Hey guys I’m looking into building an ar pistol and wanted your opinion on barrel length. I know shorter barrels dont burn all the powder so it can effect the bullet velocity and was curious what has worked best for you. I have random wight 5.56 rounds and this is just gonna be for house clearing and something fun to have. Thanks love the show!

Hello Shawn i have used a Mr Buddy heater in the past and they work well inside a home during power outages and camper I believe theyd be stellar in a camper van like yours. Id just suggest some sort of ceiling vent in a small space like that. Id also look into filling up 1lb cans with a full size propane tank. This will be far more cost effective than buying 1lb cans. Also there are probably many places you can fill up your 15lb propane tank for 2-4 bucks rather than the 20-30 bucks you pay at an exchange place like gas station or grocery store. Just get a couple of CO detectors one near the unit and one where you lay your head. Also the 1lb tanks work great with single burner camp stoves even multi burners. Id buy both so you have options for cooking. you dont want to lug out a multi burner one all the time even though they are pretty small.

PS. I have ETS mags and they work well but if its 35 and below they have feed problems. The cold really effects them.

Hey fam,

How does the bowers group bitty sound in a rifle barrel ps90? I know Jeremy just acquired a P90 but have you ran it suppressed? Is 5.7 too hot for the bitty to be hearing safe?

Thanks for everything you do!

So if you have a $400-$600 (non-magnified only) optic budget for your duty rifle which would you chose?

Can you guys point me to a good video on how to use my Mantis X? I’ve had it for a year and barely find time to use the thing for dry fire practice. I’ve played around a little but really do not have the time to go out and find a good video and consume all that content to really learn how to use it. Hoping since you guys are already pros at it you’ll have a good recommendation or maybe you’ll put out a video on how to really use it and get the value out of it. #Houndlife #SSB

What are your thoughts on 2011s and other double stack 1911s? Are they overhyped expensive race guns or should they be in contention when one is choosing a defensive firearm? I myself am torn on the subject because they are great shooting guns but there is almost no aftermarket for mags and spare magazines from the company are crazy expensive. Love the show guys #WLSISLIFE

As I write, I am dealing with an annoying case of hiccups. I’m reminded of a “ripleys believe it or not” story of a guy that suffered a years long case of hiccups. This leads to thought of other bodily spasms that some may deal with on a chronic daily basis. Is there a discipline of shooting that you think would be easier to adapt to? (Pistol, multi gun, long range). This question is easier to consider in the competition realm, but it also applies to self defense. Perhaps it doesn’t matter in the overall sense of shoot until the threat is eliminated, but it comes in to play when you consider “what’s behind your target” or a crowded area scenario. Interested to hear y’all’s thoughts. Thanks.
