Hey guys,
Much thanks for the great podcast, keep it up. If you’re milling out an 80% AR lower is there any reason not to make it a low shelf from the get go in case select fire becomes easier to achieve legally in the future? Would you need a different jig?

If spalling is such an issue with steel plates, why doesn’t anybody incorporate some kind of lip around the edge to catch or redirect the splash?

Not a question but a PSA. I wrote all three of my federal representatives and got a call back from 2 of them 3/15/2021. The calls were labeled “NO CALLER ID”. This was strange as not even spammers use no caller ID so I answered. They called to let me know they got it and asked me questions about it.

I recently purchased a BCA barrel in 5.56 for a 10.5″ build because no other barrels were in stock and I wanted to finish this build before I might not be allowed to. I’ve shot the pistol and it runs well. No issues so far. Groups are pretty good. What’s your opinion of BCA? Should I swap this barrel ASAP or stick with it until things hopefully get back to “normal”, whatever that’s going to be. Thanks, love the show.

Addressing the question of can you use 300 black out bullets in a 30/30? If you use pointed bullets in a lever gun you run the risk of out of battery discharges in the tubular magazine, also why do you guys like to lick balls? #Jeremylovesmen

Hoping you guys can help me select the correct style of over-the-ear hearing protection. I have been using in the ear ProEar Stealth Elites and Walker Razer XV. Lately, I have been noticing that they have been coming out of my ears while I’m maneuvering through the brush, and am willing to give over-the-ear protection another try. I run an airsoft Fast style helmet with a headlamp mounted in the front (where the NVG mount is) and a Crimson Trace CWL-300 on the left ARC rail of the helmet with a Life Mounts ARC Rail swivel mount. This is then wired into the battery pack for the headlamp mounted on the rear of the helmet. I also have a harness from a hardhat rigged into the helmet so it fits securely. I am looking for a pair of over-the-ear Bluetooth hearing protection that will mount to the helmet. I’ve seen a few different styles out there online and am not sure how to determine which mounting style I need or what keywords in the description to look for. The ARC rails also have this little clip built into the apex of the curve in the rail. Can you please educate me on the different mounting styles and make a recommendation on BlueTooth hearing protection, preferably under $150. Having the volume and sound controls on the headset is also a plus. Thanks and keep up the great show. #Houndlife
