- Lt. Gov Gavin Newsom says, ‘yeah, fuck it, we ARE coming for your guns becuz mass shootings!’
Sutherland Springs family convinced by lawyer to sue Academy Sports where shooter legally purchased his firearm because the Air Force failed to enter in his criminal history. PLCAA will knock this down faster than Mike Tyson fighting Shawn Herrin. Family is claiming shooter shouldn’t have been able to pick up the gun in Texas, ATF rules say: Generally, a firearm may not lawfully be sold by a licensed dealer to a non-licensee who resides in a State other than the State in which the seller’s licensed premises is located. However, the sale may be made if the firearm is shipped to a licensed dealer whose business is in the purchaser’s State of residence and the purchaser takes delivery of the firearm from the dealer in his or her State of residence. In addition, a licensee may sell a rifle or shotgun to a person who is not a resident of the State where the licensee’s business premises is located in an over-the-counter transaction, provided the transaction complies with State law in the State where the licensee is located and in the State where the purchaser resides. (3) any firearm to any person who the licensee knows or has reasonable cause to believe does not reside in (or if the person is a corporation or other business entity, does not maintain a place of business in) the State in which the licensee’s place of business is located, except that this paragraph (A) shall not apply to the sale or delivery of any rifle or shotgun to a resident of a State other than a State in which the licensee’s place of business is located if the transferee meets in person with the transferor to accomplish the transfer, and the sale, delivery, and receipt fully comply with the legal conditions of sale in both such States (and any licensed manufacturer, importer or dealer shall be presumed, for purposes of this subparagraph, in the absence of evidence to the contrary, to have had actual knowledge of the State laws and published ordinances of both States),

I listened to episodes 007 thru 017. Then, I listened to episodes 219 thru 224 (including the Double Taps in between). Y’all are more knowledgeable, articulate, and funny. Lil was nice, and there was an Air Force guy as well. I feel like Shawn has done a lot of work behind the scenes- most of the success is due to him.Aaron is funny and has learned a bunch since the beginning. Nick is here.Jeremy is louder and swears more. I feel like I’m missing someone, but can’t remember. Good job… love the show.
