It’s time for…

Going ballistic (news stories, gun control, etc.)

Put out a call to the audience, if they know of a story we should discuss, send it to us!

  • Savage1r: Lets discuss federal bills  –
  • [Support] H.R. 4547: To modify the definition of “antique firearm”: the one that would change the qualifying year for an antique to pre-1898 to pre-1913. Still sitting in committee, it looks like. Introduced May 1st of this year.
  • [Support] H.R. 3335: Firearms Interstate Commerce Reform Act: this one does a lot of stuff. Allows FFLs to operate more freely and makes like for .mil folks easier. Most notably: allows people to buy handguns out of state. HOWEVER: last updated on Oct 23rd of last year. Dead in the water?
  • [Support] H.R. 3199: Safe Military Bases Act: Allows .mil personnel to carry on base. Last updated Sep 26th of last year.
  • [Up to You] H.R. 2959: National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act of 2013: exactly what it sounds like.Last referred to committee on Aug 1st of last year. No idea what happened here.
  • [Up to You] H.R. 2648: To amend chapter 44 of title 18, United States Code, to prohibit the sale or other disposition of a firearm to, and the possession, shipment, transportation, or receipt of a firearm by, certain classes of high-risk individuals: basically amends to Brady Act to widen the prohibited class of persons by including several types of violent offenders and people that have been convicted of stalking. I am skeptical of this because it was introduced by a Democrat from Illinois. Last updated Jul 10th, 2013

Enjoyable Disaster

Rating: 5 Stars

This show is like watching a Nascar race for the wrecks. You know they will happen, but if you follow the rules of the drinking game you will probably miss them. Great show, great guests, and a hot red head.
