20160423161339_IMG_1546What do you have there? It’s a question I ask Aaron a lot, you know because he touches everyone’s stuff. This time, he had the CZ Scorpion EVO chambered in 9mm. This is our first look.

This pistol sports a side charging handle, ambi safety, hand stop under the rail (THINK ABOUT THE FINGERS). Just a reminder, in the first look videos, we don’t learn anything about the guns, we just shoot them. My first thought was “why is everything on this gun sharp?”. I stand by that question. The ergonomics of the gun are horrible, from the safety selector that attempts to dislocate your index finger in the firing position by digging a nub directly into the flesh. The multiple picatinny rails on the forend are uncomfortable to grip and seem pretty unnecessary since your hand covers all the available real estate. PICATINNY RAILS EVERYWHERE. With that ugliness out of the way, it is fun to shoot. Not sure what the use case is in this configuration, but it was a blast to shoot.

Check out the video and see what Aaron and our friend Robert Butler from Kenaz Tactical Group thought.

Thanks to Joe from Redleg Tactical for bringing it out for us!
