Wonderful class. I've taken a lot of different medical training courses in my time and Shawn has a unique way of approaching things. Rather than inundate you in PowerPoint Hell, his briefings are short, to the point, and he engages with you. The scenarios at the end really helped to point out flaws in thinking and gaps in training and both give you a chance to learn from them and figure out where you want to go from there in the future. It's all stuff applied from real-world events and various "what-if" scenarios.

This is by far one of, if not THE best class I've ever taken. The classes I took when I was younger were so dry and boring, it was hard to pay attention. This one is great, interactive and Shawn makes the subject matter fun and easily understandable. If college had been this much fun, I'd probably have a masters degree by now.

Getting a lot of news without the lamestream

Shawn Heron has done a goodjob with the podcast since Jake Challand left. Getting some of the news you won't otherwise hear, along with the funny uplifiting commentary is something I look forward to every week. Unfortunately since the passing of the producer, Kenny Ortega, the show seems to be on hiatus.

Wonderful show have listened for many years. I do wonder however if maybe the cast has forgot about some of the causes that are important to the roots of the WLS community. Have we just forgotten about Dolphin rape all of a sudden? Gun shop talk but make it funny

I had been looking for good firearm podcasts when I stumbled across WLS. These guys are hilarious, I never fail to actually laugh out loud in inappropriate places when they’re playing through my AirPods. I feel right at home listening to them, almost like I’m at work in my gun shop 😂

We like Hyenas

WLS is a great podcast only because it's basically a freak show of hyenas suffering from a unique genetic symptom. I've been a listener for years and have only now built up the courage to expose the terrifically hilarious symptom of these hyena's by the sound of their laughter:

Shawn laughs like what I'd imagine the Pillsbury Doughboy sounds like in real life. Or some small, way-too-heavy husky boy with no arms or legs.
Nick laughs like he has no air left in his lungs because he's dying. Also the most boring laugh which totally suits his personality. No surprise there.
Jeremy's laugh sounds like he's just trying to release bottled up anger and hatred in the most non-lethal way. It also makes me think of Jan from the Dinner Party episode on The Office.
Aa-ron's laugh has a sound that is more than sound. It's visual, visceral, gritty, and slimey--all in one. If his laughter were an object, it'd be an overcooked meatball that fell off the table and rolled in hairs, dirt, and dust--like that spaghetti nursery rhyme.
Savage laughs like he's constipated or has repressed emotions. Nothing about his laugh sounds authentic. It's like he's forcing himself to be human even though he's just a talking thumb. Since he's sold his soul to Communism, it makes sense that nothing about him is real.
All-in-all, WLS is the best thing I came across and enjoy listening and watching their live shows every week. Thanks for the little information that actually matters. Keep up the work and all hail the Cult!!
