Why in 2023 do we not have ak’s with threads concentric to bore or right hand threaded for suppressors? Is my only option the dead air wolverine? Am I wrong is there a AK concentric to bore? Ty always enjoy the show.

Hey y’all. Do any of you have a favorite AR free float handguard? I’ve got a cheap Davidson Defense mlok rail on mine. It works ok but it’s a little chunky. I was looking at the bcm rails but someone mentioned they could be a little flimsy if you start mounting lasers and optics on the handguard. Curious to hear the cast’s thoughts.

Do ya ll ever think of burying like a wasr-10 or an Anderson AR with some bulk ammo in your back yard for your grandkids to find after you die? Not even necessarily if they need to use it against skynet, but like a neat Easter egg. Jeremy had talked about putting a false bottom of machine guns/precious metals in his grave and that idea has kind of stuck with me. Just wanted to circle back and see what ya ll thought.

Building a 10.5 inch 5.56 A2 upper and going to put my surrpressor on the upper. My question lies in the Fixed front sight. With that length of gas system how paramount would it be to look into JP Enterprises Fixed front sight adjustable block vs a non adjustable?

(In response to a previous question) To whom it may concern,
The reason .40SW still exists is because of USPSA – Limited category Major.
USPSA has several divisions and some have two categories – Major and Minor. Scoring is more forgiving in Major as a “C” or “D” hit scores a point higher than minor. (But hey – if you just shoot “A” zone hits it doesn’t matter.) Major is a higher power factor which can be done with 9mm major loads, but USPSA doesn’t allow 9mm for limited. So that leaves God’s Caliber – .45 ACP and the .40S&W. .40SW allows for more cartridges in the magazine (or bullets in the clip) so it is the preferred cartridge. SIDENOTE: The first duty ammo I had for my Beretta 92F in 1990 was 147+P. Which today is known as a “major” power factor. But USPSA only allows a 9mm in Major because it’s too dangerous for stock pistols. (USPSA and NROI National staff are run by a bunch of fudds.)
Law enforcement has left the .40SW in the dust for a long time. Very few agencies still issue the pistol and those that do allow the officers to use an optional pistol/cartridge. Most opt for the 9mm, other the man’s cartridge – .45 ACP. With advancements in powder and bullets the modern 9mm has made the .40SW obsolete.
Before the dempanic lock-downs I attended the Glock MOS LEO Instructor class. No one in the class had a .40SW. The topic of the .40SW came up and why did Glock still make them. The instructors told use two reasons: 1) some countries, such as mexico, do not allow their citizens to own a military caliber firearm (In europe it is come to see 9X21 versus the NATO spec of 9X19) 2) they have some many barrels and parts for the .40SW there going to keep building them until they run out of parts.
Shoot straight…but it is impossible to shoot straight due to gravity; so “Shoot curved”
