What are your thoughts on the P365 being a viable option as a secondary weapon on your load out for boog shit? I understand that a full size gun will have a longer sight radius making it easier to be more accurate but with a 15 round mag I’ve never had a gun feel so comfortable. Also MagGuts is coming out with a kit that will turn the 15 round mag into a 17 round mag making the capacity comparable to to a full size pistol with standard mags. If you do not think the P365 is a viable option, what pistol would you recommend? Thanks in advance!

Since I cannot justify $2,500+ on night vision to my wife, especially when we have another money pit… I mean, another child on the way, I ended up buying a Nightfox 119V digital night vision set-up off of Amazon. For less than $200, I wasn’t expecting much, but they actually work fairly well considering the low price. I wouldn’t use them in a firefight or for a full Boog kit, but they’ll be good for perimeter security and scouting. The big downside for me is that the internal illuminator is in the 850nm wavelength, and is therefore visible to the human eye with the red glow. Can you guys recommend some IR illuminator flashlights in the non-visible 940nm wavelength that won’t break the bank? It would be convenient to have a handheld unit and one that could be mounted to AR carbines and pistols. Not all of us can afford Steiner products, especially with the high cost of ammo lately. Dear Geese Who Lay the Golden Content,
Would you be so generous as to opine about the pros and cons of purchasing a firearm from a big box store like the C store or the BP store? Is the state or municipality in which the store is located a factor?
I am asking for 2 reasons:
1. A local big box store is showing an item in stock that I have not been able to locate at dedicated firearms retailers in the area.
One. I don’t know if I will be able to make it to River’s Edge Tactical (riversedgetactical.net) before the boogaloo and/or zombie apocalypse.
