Dear WLS
- Roger B – I’m running a 1-6 LVPO and I’m not liking it at all but I still want to reach out a little further. Have you guys used a red dot with a magnifier and what are your thoughts over a lvpo? Also what red dot and magnifier would you go with? Thanks for your time. Oh and Jermy is a cunt
- Ben B – Looking for sling recommendations for a Bergara B-14 HMR. It’s a bit of a heavier rifle that I’ll be carrying for upcoming deer season. Thanks in advance!
- Blackhawk 3-point sling for heavy rifles. – Buy MidwayUSA at Brownells
- Comparison of single-point and two-point slings.
- Various slings available for heavier rifles.
- Nathan S – I’ve been saving for awhile now, and 5k to invest in a 2011…..been a dream of mine for a long time. In your very educated opinions, what 5” 2011’s would you purchase on a hard capped 5k budget? Gun and optic. I like full dust covers and bull barrels. Bushings are not my jam. Thanks for your time. Except, Aaron. Fuck Michigan. And he often sounds suspiciously like a fed.
- Little Wang Big Heart – Looking to get a lever gun. What caliber is best to suppress? I want a magazine tube and not 22lr. Also does 45 longcolt sound the same as 45-70 subsonic?
- Armen Hammer – As the world turns we have to think about the ultimate question; to hammer or to strike. Hammer fired v. Striker fired of course. In this day of plastic fantastic wonder gun striking while the iron is hot, does the hammer have a place on the anvil? Ok. Enough conflating these two. Does the cast see the hammer fired gun continue to dazzle the consumer? Love the show. The only bad hammer is with a sickle, the only good commie is a dead one. #WLSisLife
- K Dubbs – Thanks for the content fellas. Long time listener. Almost as good as Gun Funny. Question: what self defense carbine would you recommend for ban states? I have a few featureless AKs. “Featureless” is questionable in most bam states. Easy to find situations where citizens have been jammed up by the state police for featureless rifles that are “easy to reverse”. I’ve considered an AR ranch rifle build but have heard they can be finicky on YouTube. Would a bolt gun like a ruger American stanag in 556 be a decent option? I would probably get the barrel chopped and p&w a flash hider. Thanks for the advice in advance!

- Kermit Thee Frog – Do any of you have experience with Liberty Precision Machine’s Anthem S2 30 cal or Torch 5.56 suppressors? I have a 10.5” 300 Blackout, a 13.9” 5.56, and an 18” 6.5 Grendel. I’m currently using a Sandman K between the three and am now looking for a larger, quieter can. The K is fine on the Grendel and Blackout, but it’s obviously lacking on the 5.56. So, I am torn between getting the dedicated 5.56 Torch or the 30 cal Anthem. Besides Jeremy The Cunt (because his hearing is fucked), can you guys tell much of a difference between 5.56 and 30 cal cans? Should I go with a dedicated suppressor or stick with 30 cal for more versatility? K thanks! Love you, bye.
- Anthem S2 is versatile for various calibers.
- Torch 5.56 is optimized for 5.56 caliber.
