Born and raised in Huron SD, don’t remember anything exciting happening in my life until 1) I shot my first gun around 8 years old and 2) I saw Star Wars for first time in 1977 at the age of 11. I’ve enjoyed those two pastimes separately all my life. Became a software developer because of the strong influence sci-fi had on me. Been shooting and collecting guns all my adult life. Everything was status quo until I bought a Sterling rifle and decided to turn it into an E-11 Stormtrooper blaster. Turning that thing into a “holy grail” functioning prop was hella addictive so I’ve been chasing that high ever since. Started Canto Arms to legitimize my obsession and share the rush with as many like-minded people as possible!
