Bullet Points

  • IWI has launched the Zion-25 series, a large-frame AR available in .308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor, featuring various barrel lengths and a unique gas system design. This new offering includes enhancements such as Timney triggers, Arca-compatible handguards, and B-5 stocks, aimed at improving accuracy and usability. The introduction of the Zion-25 may influence the competitive landscape within the large-frame gas gun market, providing consumers with more options in performance and customization.
  • Ruger and Dead Air have launched a new line of suppressors, the Dead Air RXD 30Ti and RXD 22Ti, designed to enhance performance with lightweight titanium construction and innovative design features. This partnership may impact the gun community by providing advanced options for firearm enthusiasts seeking improved suppressor technology.
  • Shawn – Time for a Change?
  • The flux raider needs to pivot.
  • Colt is unveiling new revolvers at NRAAM 2024, including an 8″ variant of the Python, an updated compact Viper, and two new Bear-themed models, the Kodiak and Grizzly. These releases may influence the gun community by expanding choices in revolver options.

Going Ballistic

  • Trump goes all in on allowing non-violent criminals to own guns
  • Spanberger’s Attacks on 2nd Amendment Should Galvanize Gun Owners to Unite Against Her
  • Colorado House Republicans Call on AG Bondi to Defend Second Amendment Rights
  • Analysis: NRA Reformers Make Progress at Members Meeting [Member Exclusive]
  • Podcast: Venture Capital for Gun Companies? (ft. Open Source Defense)
  • Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has signed a law that permits individuals aged 18 and over to purchase handguns, a move that aligns with Second Amendment rights and empowers a younger demographic within the gun community. This decision is likely to be met with disapproval from gun control advocates who continue to push for stricter regulations.
  • An alleged intruder attempted to break into a home but was shot in the face by the homeowner in self-defense. This incident highlights the ongoing debate surrounding the right to self-defense and could reinforce the gun community’s stance on the necessity of armed protection against crime, while providing more ammunition for those opposing gun control.
  • Montana Governor Gianforte welcomes gun manufacturers leaving Colorado, promoting Montana as a favorable environment for the gun industry. This move may bolster the gun community by encouraging growth and attracting businesses looking for a more supportive regulatory climate.

Reviews

  • ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐from Oliver – Love the show. Only one I listen to in the winter on the regular. Summer I add more since I have more driving to do. No shirt for me I am to fat.

  • ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐from ARDREW479 – I’m going to try a different approach than many of the neckbeards in this community and not insult any of the cast members. You gentlemen are all top notch and this show is something I look forward to every week. Thanks to each of you for taking the time to entertain us all and creating this amazing community of 2A advocates.

All of the Squares. All of the Squirrels. All of the Squarrels.

I am writing in for a couple of things. A little mixed bag of squirrels for you tonight.

The first is your friendly reminder that this is an audio podcast. Plz describe what the hell is going on, and I would appreciate just a bit more about the guests that are on.
Don’t want to be a dick but some of us are slow and or retarded (maybe mostly just me, maybe, maybe not, but maybe. Mostly)and could use a bit more explanations of what is what, descriptions of items and background on our lovely guests which we appreciate to see and interact with.
I’ll leave that there with hopes that I will be understood and not too harshly admonished for my being Bi-Curious and wanting to enjoy the content further, and deeper.very deep and moist.

My next major point which I hope makes it past and through what I have just said is about how much I appreciate what you fuckers do. I have made friends on the internet which I’m pretty sure are real. I have made contact with some good folks and had a good time at the range. Nobody wants to go fishing with me but that’s ok
I have found many resources from the pidcast to help me on my journey that have been very positive. I have had questions answered by the cast that have aided me in my adventures and I try to remember those things. I have been given much advice, most of it which was quite constructive even directly from the cast. Lots of problems solved and things figured out by WLS that I would have been either stuck on for a while or maybe would not have made the best decision about. I appreciate that not only do you vet the gear that you recommend, you run it and test it and develop relationships with those companies and bring their greatness to light. If there is a problem, you let us know, I think…
Not to mention the deals! The deals are friggin great. I got myself loaded up with cool shit thanks to weighing out options and finding what works. The skills are another issue. Getting there.

So to the WLS Crew, Shawn(he does the IT or something), Nick(the one with the sweater sometimes), Jeremy C(he’s positive), HaRd R Ron(Yes you you goon,) and welcome the fuck back you Savage Son of a Bitch. (That’s SSB!) Emojis.

Thank you for the awesome and the nonsense. Great to be a little part of it all. Carry on, as you were. 171.

Extra Notes. All of the Notes. Notes for Everything and Everyone. Notes Everywhere. There are even some notes on the next page.
