If you were setting up a home defense shotgun, and the only option for mounting an optic is to use the dovetail – would you use a dovetail to picatinny mount, drill & tap for a picatinny mount, or (if it’s possible) get the receiver cut for mounting an RMR directly?

Greeting cult leaders,
This isn’t so much a question as it is a solution to a problem. I miss hearing Aaron on the show, and I think I found a way to bring him back to life. First, pour his ashes in to a blender, then add a full pint whiskey, clippings of Shawn’s dreaded beard, a dash of Nick’s figi-pudding, and muddle all of that together with the head of the Washington thumb, and lastly (but most importantly), we need Jeremy to hate breath in to the pitcher. Go full send with the blender. Pour this concoction into the city reservoir in Flint Michigan, and watch him rise from the depths of Satan’s anus (aka Michigan).
