Hey guys, I remember many episodes ago, Sean said that he hates politics and analyzing them.
I am a Political Science graduate from the University of Louisville, and am pursuing a Masters degree in statistics and digital policy while also attending law school. I would love to analyze subjects regarding the second amendment and other firearm related policies that the group talks about weekly. Maybe we can show, why the second amendment is so important to the preservation and foundation of the United States of America.
I will point out that my political leanings are slightly Jeremy-esque. But with the understanding of where our current system will allow us to go.

I’m interested in getting a shotgun, finally. My plan is to use it at the clay’s range close by and not necessarily as a home defense gun because I’d grab my handgun or pistol AR first.
I’m looking between the CZ 712 or CZ Drake. In your opinion, am I better off getting the 712 to have the single barrel and 4+1 capacity or just go with the O/U Drake to have the dedicated clay-shooting gun for (arguably) better performance in the role the gun is intended for? Also, I’m not married to the CZ line but using as an example in the price range I’m comfortable in for a sporting shotgun.

The last email I got from BCA saying they were regulating all receivers in WA turned out to be a bit misleading but this one seems to be more legit and it’s form 80%Arms.

Should I feel bad?
I sold one of my ARs for 1000 dollars.
Its an Early Ruger AR556, none of the frills that later models came with… I posted it because I rarely shoot this one and saw some crazy sales on armslist recently in my area (i call sold listings and ask sellers what they sold for) and thought id list it for a crazy price and see what i would get. Surprising to me someone answered my 1200 OBO with 1k and I took it. Should I feel bad?
Im thinking of putting my money towards a Faxon. Which one should i get? Leaning towards the Sentry!

This question is for those who have worked or are working in a gun store. What are some interesting stories you can talk about when it comes to selling guns to individuals? The recent story Jeremy talked about with the old man in a wheelchair being a convicted felon was hilarious. I worked in a local gun store after I got out of high school while attending a local tech school but had to stop when I went to University. I have some interesting stories of my own when it came to NICS denials and “mess-ups” on 4473’s.
Also, what was the WLS episode where you first had the Faxon Firearms guys on?

To the guy who asked about whether or not to buy a Daniel Defense 308, I have one but would not recommend it solely based on the price. Have the first-gen DD5 Ambush and love it to death. Being a lefty (fuck Jeremy), the ambi features are great and the rifle shoots wonderfully. I didn’t buy it full price since DD had a dealer program where I got mine at a 40% discount while working at the gun store. There are more well-equipped and lighter rifles out there. I agree with Jeremy that DD needs to drop their prices 30% for their rifles to really be worth it, and this is coming from a guy who owns 2 of them. I also have a V11Pro. The ADM 308 or POF 308’s are just as good, if not better for the money.
