Nick, I see you are originally from Montana. I’ve been considering a move to there or Idaho in the near future. I am burnt out being a paramedic full time, and have been looking at trying to get into the firearms industry. All of my education has revolved around firefighting and paramedicine, thereforeI don’t have any training regarding marketing or business admin, and no training as a gunsmith or machinist, other than what I’ve learned from working on my own firearms and researching through books and online. Hey all! You guys watched the advertisement for 300 ham’r and briefly discussed your thoughts about it on double tap ep139 and I wanted to ask: what are your guys thoughts about wildcat cartridges and the path to SAAMI certification? It seems like such a political game for not a lot of result for consumers. For example wilson tactical came out with 7.62x40mm in 2011 somewhat unsuccessfully and now the 300 ham’r (or 7.62x41mm) is SAAMI certified and all the buzz when there are other wildcats around with huge potential that have gone unmentioned. What gives?

I’m an AK enthusiast and not very into ARs anymore. I recall from previous episodes that you used to be an “AK guy.” I’m curious why you have shut AKs out of your life forever. Just a thought, but were you molested by a large Russian man? No need to reply. I think I know the answer…my uncle is American.

Buffer question. I’m assembuilding an AR10 in 6.5 creedmore. I’m using a Faxon barrel and BCG, Noreen receivers, a flat buffer spring and a standard 6 point leapers AR15 buffer tube. Considering the Kak AR15 configurable buffer kit. Will this buffer work with this build? #SSB #WLSISLIFE #GUNCULT

Hey guys. On one of the episodes someone asked about something involving carrying in New York. I don’t remember the exact question. I do recall Shawn saying the something about the inability to carry concealed and mentioned the Supreme Court case involving New York City. The gun laws in the city are vastly different from the rest of the state. Most of the state is farm land a very republican. I carry every day much like most everyone around where I live. I will keep trying to get more people to the voter box, I know we won’t be able to we the governors office but we can pack the rest of the offices. On that note we just started getting ten round p365 xl and was wondering if anyone has any experience with it? Love the show.
