I have been looking into finding a good low light class. Recently in another class there was a conversation, that you use your light sparingly. get a flash picture, turn it off, move, flash again and move. While I see the premise of this, I also look at reality. If I am home and I have a burglar, I feel this will be a turn the light on, shout commands, and decide my plan of action, and repeat. If not at home, I shouldn’t be searching at all, I’m not a LEO. Although training is generally good and you can always benefit, even with minor things in classes, I need the push to make it worth the money and time to do so. Looking for some opinions?

Alright boys, here’s another question from The Woodsman.
Out here in the Wilderness, a Man cannot rely on guns alone. Stranded in the mountains with -20 temps, us Men need blades to pry snowshoes off boots or to make cots from bears. Choosing a good blade is not only necessary for survival, but also separates the strong from the weak, the Men from the boys.
So what knife do you carry and what do you use it for? I assume Shawn’s is for slicing cheese at wine tastings, Jeremy’s is for stabbing people, Nick’s is for opening chip bags, and Aaron’s is for forcing kids into his rape van.
