Currently building a DMR with an intended range of 300-500yrds. I love the 6.5 Grendel in a 18in barrel. but because of the cost of ammo and a thinner wall on the bolt, it doesn’t seem cost affective.
I’ve settled on a 20in 223wylde (WILD) heavy fluted barrel.
So what is Jeremy’s opinion on this build for hunting Ernest Hemingway’s favorite prey?
