- Massachusetts passes bump stock/trigger crank ban/confiscation bill. Per /u/50calpeephole: MA passed an anti bump-stock ban that gains effect on Feb 1. The Executive Office of Public Safety has mailed a warning to every firearms license holder in the state to turn in their bump stocks or face inprisonment. Despite the protections of the US constitution, firearms owners will recieve no compensation for their bump stocks. Word on the street is, if we challenge and lose, we can’t challenge a high-cap magazine ban under the same grounds, to not challenge means that confiscating high capacity magazines is acceptable. To make both acceptable probably means confiscating illegal Assault Weapons is acceptable too. Puts MA in a very precarious position over a trivial toy. BTW: it would have been cheaper for the state to offer up $100 for every bump stock than a mass mailing, there is certainly no shortage of funds for gun buybacks. Police are saying to start turning in stocks/cranks on Thursday.

This isn’t a typical review for your show, I’m not writing to remind everyone that Aaron is old, or Shawn is balding. I’m actually writing to thank you. Your show made me laugh while I was in the waiting room at the children’s hospital in aurora. My wife was in a terrible accident she was flown to Farmington in a coma. My four year old an I were flown to Denver he has two broken legs,and my sweet nine year old is keeping an eye on us from heaven. Long story short you guys comparing yourself to star was characters had me laughing like I should have been the one that was hospitalized. I’ve been a listener for years but never a patreon. After my life makes sense again I will do my best to become one.
