Hello everyone, welcome to the group-lympics, where we test ammunition group sizes using multiple types of ammunition and multiple firearms. I’m your color commentator, Shawn! We set out to test multiple brands of ammunition out of multiple guns and see which ammo brand had the best average group size across multiple platforms.
Testing methodology: Bench rest shooting at a ranged 21′ feet. 5 shots groups were fired and we used an ‘olympic average’ for scoring. Meaning the highest and lowest group sizes were thrown out and the remaining group sizes were averaged. We also measured each group twice, once with total group size and one throwing out the furthest flier. There is still a human component in this test as a human sighted and pulled the trigger. But robots don’t shoot guns… yet. Savage1r?
