Best Quarter Spent All Week.

Even a rainy day with sub-50-degree weather is better than no day at the range at all. With the rain falling steady, the only thing certain was that picking up today’s brass was going to leave our fingers numb.

We got to the range just in time for the heavy stuff to come down, but the positive part is we had the whole place to ourselves. The negative was that even under the shelter of the aluminum awning the wind pushed the rain in.

We only spent about two hours at the range, but it was enough time to get soaked, chilled to the bone and laugh at each other’s shaking hands.

Even with the rain coming down almost to the point where it could be considered sleet, the day’s grouping was real nice, but this is the best that I have to show for it. A slight nick at 15 yards with the Stoeger Cougar 8000.

Best quarter spent all week.
