- Shooter was already receiving mental health services but stopped going
- Was reported by multiple students and teachers to have anger problems
- Bragged that he was going to be a mass shooter
- Police called to his home 39 times over 7 years
- No one at the school was armed.
- FBI was alerted to him and did nothing

- Commentary on anti-gunners and politicians blaming all gun owners for the acts of criminals and psychos. Treating gun laws like the religious right treats abortion laws. Guilting republicans for not being sympathetic and then guilting more for them saying ‘thoughts and prayers’. Anti-gun politicians blaming the right for not passing gun control when the laws in place aren’t being enforced (lowered prosecutions), and then calling for gun laws that wouldn’t stop the shootings so they create an endless cycle where the final solution is banning all guns, which is what many are calling for. #nooneiscomingforyourguns.

Good show, you guys have an excellent podcast. I’ve just listened to episode 155 and I wanted to make a argument to Shawn that was not addressed in the podcast about patents. I think that patents encourage innovation. Think of it this way, I invent a “€œFord”€ truck, and a couple months later, someone invents a “€œGord”€ truck that is the exact copy of my truck, only it costs half the price. Why would the inventor of the Ford truck want to create new things if he knew his idea was going to be stolen, and his price undercut? You have to have protections on ideas to incentivize new ideas. P.S. Jeremy, I was a 160lbs Marine, and I carried the 240, don’€™t act like you gotta be a big fucking ogre to carry that shit into combat
